The Uttar Pradesh government launched the Samajwadi Pension Yojana to provide financial assistance to economically weaker families and marginalized sections, including Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and Below Poverty Line (BPL) families. This Pension allows a monthly allowance for the weaker sections and helps in their upliftments. Peculiarities of Samajwadi Pension Yojana
The scheme is open to any family below poverty line, but should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
The primary beneficiary should have a bank account with any nationalized bank.
The plan offers a monthly pension of Rs 500, with an increasing amount of Rs 50 every subsequent year.
The families are selected at Gram panchayat level.
Application process – Online
The Samajwadi pension yojana form can be applied on the Uttar Pradesh Samajwadi Pension scheme’s official website which is http://sspy-up.gov.in/.
Log in to the website http://sspy-up.gov.in first.
Click on download in Samajwadi Pension Scheme application form and save it.
Then complete the online application form and upload all needed papers.
After filling out the form with all of the needed information, you may save it and submit it to the website to create your Samajwadi Pension Yojana account.

Components of Samajwadi Pension Yojana
- Monthly Pension – Eligible families received a monthly pension to support their livelihood.
